Nice to meet you

How I started, and what I do.

In a way, I like to define myself as a "digital native" ante-litteram.

My passion for technology has been passed down to me by my father since childhood. I started my journey with an i386 equipped with MS-Dos 6.22 and Windows 3.11.

Despite being a native of the ’90s, I had direct contact with the dawn of home computing in the 1980s.

Still today, I remember the days spent playing Pac-Mania on the Amiga 500 Plus, or trying to get the cartridge running on a Commodore 128D.

The journey then continued with creating mods for Windows Mobile devices, until I started using GNU/Linux in 2008.

In 2013, I began contributing to the Ubuntu for Phones project within the Ubuntu community, a commitment that spanned until 2018.

Subsequently, I shifted my focus to Web Marketing, leading me to Valencia, Spain from 2019 to 2021. During this period, I engaged in SEO activities and executed a comprehensive overhaul of a B2B website, adopting the Jamstack architecture.

In 2021, I relocated to Seoul, South Korea and spent 1.5 years working on various web-related projects, including assisting a local company with managing their online store.

Back to the present, I am currently in my hometown – Trieste, Italy.

I speak Italian, Spanish, and English. I can also speak some Korean, but the further I get from using it on a daily basis, the harder it becomes to remember the words.
